Prof. Andrej Bauer receives prestigious prize of the American Mathematical Society

The American Mathematical Society awards the Levija L. Conant prize for the best expository article published in the last five years in the Notices of the AMS or the Bulletin of the AMS every year in January at its general assembly. The winner of the 2022 award is Andrej Bauer, professor of computational mathematics at the  Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of the University of Ljubljana for his paper »Five stages of accepting constructive mathematics«. 

Prof. Bauer is well known to student of mathematics and computer science, as well as to the general public, for his excellent and entertaining lectures on  computational mathematics, principles of programming languages and other math topics. He also enjoys creating computer-generated art.
