8th European Congress of Mathematics has been moved online
The European Congress of Mathematics (ECM) takes place every 4 years and is the biggest european scientific meeting in the field of mathematics. The 8th ECM that was planned to take place in Portorož, Slovenia, from 20 to 26 June 2021 with more than 1000 participants present at the venue, has been moved online.

Registration for the congress is open until June 7, 2021. The deadline for minisymposia and sattelite conference proposals has been extended to March 31, 2021. The organizers invite volunteers for help with the organization of the event.
DMFA supports the organizers of the congress and wishes them a succesfull event. We urge our members to support this important european event by attending themselves, and by promoting it among their colleagues, thus contributing to further recognition of Slovenian mathematics in the world.
